I think they both went to the grave knowing that they'd pulled off major hoaxes. I have to hand it to them-pretty impressive.

Both of these gentlemen are but some of the visionaries to express ancient hermetic disciplines with their unique spins, to the modern day masses. L. Ron Hubbard along with Jack Parsons were aprentices of Aleister Crowley, same with Joseph Smith, Bringham Young was a Crowley associate as well.
