Will you be a ninja if you do Tae Kwon Do?

The answer is simple....

NO!

Ninjitsu is 1) not Tae Kwon Do, 2) if it is taught openly in America it is not real Ninjitsu. Real Ninjitsu would be highly illegal.

You are NOT going to become a Ninja no matter what you do. If you are old enough to be on this board, you have started too late to be a Ninja, as it used to be taught. I do not know if it is even taught in Japan now in any capacity.

What are the craziest kicks you would learn if you got a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do?

Go train and find out.

Nope you'll be a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Becoming a ninja is about more than just doing fancy kicks or black belts. Much of their training isn't so much in fighting as much as it is not being detected. Their fighting style is also ninjitsu. A style all of it's own. Ninjas were thieves, spies, and assasins.

A ninja was also the cultural opposite of a Samurai. While Samurai were noblemen like the knights of Europe, Ninjas were poor farmers. A lot of their weapons such as nunchaku were basically modified farm tools since they were poor and used what they could find. A lot of their tactics are based on thievery as a means of survival.

1) There are no Ninja's it's a dead art.
2) Ninja was Japanese, Tae Kwon Do is Korean. Learning TKD would not make you a Ninja even if the still existed.
3) You will learn a lot of kicks in TKD, that's what we emphasize.
Among the more exotic are jumping reverse & roundhouse kicks, axe kicks & wheel kicks.

The simple answer is yes! Anyone who gets their black belt in Taekwondo is automatically boosted to "ninja" status. You can then climb on the ceiling and wear ALL black even on hot sumer days. This is one of the many benefits to studying TKD. Not to mention all the amazing flashy craptastic kicks you will learn. TKD guys are so good in fact, that they never keep a guard up! They don't need to block these "punches" and other fictitious attacks due to their increased "ninja awareness!". It is true my friend..... they way of the ninja lay within the art of takeyourdough.

Firstly, Ninjas do Ninjitsu, tae kwon do was inveted for korean soldiers to kick people off of horses. In tae kwon do you will learn alot of jumping kicks and spinning kicks that look cool. It is essentailly a kick based form of fighting so yeah, it does all those kicks you see on tv.

There is nothing wrong with tae kwon do if you are at a good dojo. Some places train it as a sport, others as self defence. if you learn it as a sport, you will have trouble defending yourself with it. but learning as a selfdefence is fine.

No you have to take Ninjitsu, and in order to be a real ninja you have to learn from a Bujinkan Dojo. International Bujinkan is the only organization in the world that teaches "Authentic Ninjutsu".

No!

BTW: If you want to learn Tae Kwon Do, I STRONGLY suggest that you find a dojo that is run by a native Korean who learned his TKD in Korea.

Ninjitsu is the Japanese art of sentry removal. It's not very pratical unless your trying to kill somebody in twelve seconds or less. Taekwondo however is Korea's form of martial arts. It is what I do. I have taken 3rd two year in a row at the worlds' championships so thats my pick. you like to jump and fly thru the air?Thats Taekwondo.
