Mix some salt into warm water and swish it around in your mouth a couple of times a day to dry out and get rid of the ulcers. And I think that ulcers are like little infection blisters in your mouth.
"A mouth ulcer (from Latin ulcus) is the name for the appearance of an open sore inside the mouth caused by a break in the mucous membrane or the epithelium on the lips or surrounding the mouth. The types of mouth ulcers are diverse, with a multitude of associated causes including: physical or chemical trauma, infection from microorganisms or viruses, medical conditions or medications, cancerous and sometimes nonspecific processes. Once formed, the ulcer may be maintained by inflammation and/or secondary infection. Two common mouth ulcer types are aphthous ulcers (canker sores) and cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus.[1][2]"

I got diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about four years ago, whilst I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I understand lots of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date other men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/ez0A2 everything got better.
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system provided me the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

just a slight irritation in the mouth. Your mouth is full of germs and sometimes they make pockets of infection in your mouth. People with bad immune systems usually get them
I use a mouth wash called Biotene ( I have a bad immune system) and this stuff really works. It has an enzyme that kills the bacteria that causes mouth ulcers. (it costs like $10. so be prepared...)

Campho-Phenique is an excellent topical medicine which helps to heal ulcers, and is a pain reliever as well.
Some people believe ulcers are an STD, however this is proven to be false, though STD's can produce similar lesions.
They are generally because of stress or poor diet..

I've heard that they are caused by virus's, but I'm not sure. The best thing I have found is to get some kind of mouth med to dab on it. The stronger it is, the better. And keep your mouth clean and drink plenty of water to keep hydrated.

The 1 that worked best for me was called "Mouth Sore mouth wash" It was really really good at it helped alot. Another thing to help the pain a little would be some numbing stuff you can get at CVS.

{from webmd}
you may get canker sores if you:
Are stressed or tired.
Have your menstrual cycle, if you are a woman.
Hurt your mouth, such as biting your lip.
Have braces on your teeth.
Have food allergies. Eating foods that you are allergic to may cause you to get a canker sore.
Eat or drink food or juice that has a lot of acid, such as orange juice.
Do not get enough vitamins or minerals in your diet, such as iron.
{end webmd}
I make a paste with baking soda and water and leave it sit as long as i can stand it.
