I mean the Avian virus H7 has been in Norfolk before.

Some ideas. An immigrant Starling sneaked in the Turkey prison to snatch some free food and passed on the virus.
Came with imported eggs or poultry trade movements.

Could not find the entry section for Zoonosis.

More than likely a wild bird got in somewhere. Turkeys are not known to be highly intelligent animals, and they would peek at anything in the vicinity. They also can canabalize sick birds, so it's possible they ate the poor sick bird and no trace would be found. Disgusting, but true. I doubt it came in with imported eggs, though the bird trade could concievably imported it from the continent. Generally, though, viruses have to be transmitted from warm body to warm body- they do not care for open air much, and the bird flu virus seems to share that preference. So most likely it was a sick immigrating bird that made the initial contact. It will be very nearly impossible to prove or disprove either way.

Personally I think it has come from Hungary. Considering the firm involved has strong links there, and also that Hungary had an outbreak . The coincidence is too strong to be ignored.

It was a stray bird and it belonged to Jack Nicholson, I think It was the same one that flew over the cookoo's nest.
