Here is what my set up is:

I use my stereo speakers as my speakers and run the cable to my computer and get sound from just ONE speaker. How can I get it from both speakers? I was going to buy another cord to run from my speaker with no sound to my comp but I only have one plug in. So do I need to buy a double headed USB cable or what do I need to buy?

I hope you are using small desktop speakers. Your PC has not enough power to drive big speakers.
It is better if you use an AV Receiver in between.
PC ---> AV Receiver ----> Speakers

You need to buy a PC-audio to RCA stereo cable. Then connect the AV Receiver (or the two speakers if you insist) to the RCA ends.
