Few months ago, I had to pick up some documents from one of my co-worker's apt. It says "2 hours parking" on the street sign, and each time I only parked on the street for less then 15 mins. I end up with 6 tickets after the 5th visit, and the tickets add up to $330. My co-worker told me that's wut happen to the cars that the patrol units are not fimiliar with. Does anyone know how to complain about these parking tickets?

There's no court date, no hearing date.
No Judge will hear a parking ticket case.
At least in L.A. they won't. There's no contact information for file a dispute on the ticket. So I should just walk in their city hall and ask to speak with the major??!!!....

I believe on your copy of the ticket, there should be a date and place if you want to contest it at a hearing. Probably depends on your state. But I'd do it, if possible. I hear the cops never show up for the hearings.

Edit: BW, here is the LA Parking Violations Bureau step-by-step on how to contest a parking ticket.

I'm afraid you may have waited too long if this happened a 'few' months ago. But take a look and see. Good luck. :o/

There should be a Court date on your tickets. Go to Court.

Take it to traffic court. On your tickets plead not guilty and they will try to schedule a hearing.
