I am courious, does anyone know how In-n-Out processes, ships and stores it's burger meat?

How safe is it since it is fresh and not frozen and shipped all from one place?

I am not sure but Wendy's also does not freeze it hamburger and gets it from a processor from long distances. Hamburger can be refrigerated for reasonable times and once you cook it PROPERLY -cook to center. Micro's are killed off. If the burgers would be held too long flavor would be objectionable but bacteria again will be killed off with proper cooking.
