The last time I checked with DaimlerChrysler, the '79 Electronic Spark Advance (ESC) computers were no longer available. Although the ESC on my '79 Cordoba still processes away, it could die at any time. Most people with non-functioning computers convert to an electronic ignition system originally designed to replace point-ignition systems. This does work. The conversion system is available from Mopar Performance or other sources. Good luck!

A 1979 Ramcharge should only have two different modules available. Any good parts person should be able to help you get the right one. Plus if you still have the old one you can match it.
