Do you know of any organizations who collect toys for children?
I live in northern Oregon, but any organizations that you find, I'll check them out. I'm a high school student and I plan on collecting stuffed animals and older toys from other students to give to some organization.

Normally local adoption agencies, or social workers, or police departments accept stuffed animals, for those kids who have been through a lot...that's where we donate ours.

Also, toys for tots.

toys for tots should be able to direct you.

you could also donate to the children of battered women... contact your local battered women's shelter....

really, most places get mostly toys for small children and they would greatly appreciate toys for the older ones... if not, they should be able to suggest somewhere...

last year we collected & donated to the foster children in the community... and we catered to all ages... but you could call them... to find out what they suggest...

your options are truely endless... people don't turn down toys for children of any age... within reason, of course...
