I have a female cat who does this. When I'm laying in bed, she straddles my leg and kneads with her front paws, and marches in place with her back paws. She looks as if she is riding a bicycle. She looks very serious and concentrated when she does this. I don't know why she does it, but she's not doing any harm so I just let her.

Ahhh, the old humping the human thing going on. Oh, just a little humor there, lol. Get a spray bottle, a new one is better than using one that had any kind of cleaning stuff in it. Fill it with water, set the nozzle on stream and squirt him in the face. Cats hate water in their face. If that doesn't work, try keeping your bedroom door shut during the night. Cats are weird creatures, you never know why they get these little quirks like they do. Good luck!

Hi there...by any chance has your cat been neutered? Humping can be a result of either sexual urges from hormones which neutering will resolve or dominance behaviours which are commonly seen among neutered/spayed animals.
