Great Question. It is not about who or what you die for. Dying for your beliefs and the protection of others is no different whether you are Jesus or a soldier of ANY army.

Because Jesus Died For The Entire World And The Life Who Inhabit It. The Soldiers Only Died For Their Country.

Jesus death is more important as He died to pay for the sins
of all mankind. This sacrifice allows us to live with Him in Heaven
with God if we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.
Your statement says ALL the soldiers -= are you putting the German, Japanese and Italian soldiers in the total as well?
Yes, we are indebted to the Allied soldiers who paid a precious
price for our freedom. But that is like comparing apples to
oranges to a true sacrifice of a Savior.

It is difficult to say that the soldiers died in vain. But, you have to look at what they died for in comparison with what our Lord died for. Some soldiers died for a belief in their respective governments. Some died without a choice and without wanting to fight. not. American soldiers died in order that we might remain free during our brief time on this planet.
These soldiers died fighting for the living.
On the other hand our Lord died to provide for salvation of our eternal souls. That all those who believe in Him would live forever with Him and not perish.

When jesus died on the cross at calvary he gave up his life for you. The soldiers in WW2 have saved the nation and everyone in the US thanks them but everyone in the wirld thanks jesus for what he did. He died so that you could have eternal salvation. Him dying is a symbol of his love. He bleed from every pore of his body and felt the pain and sorrow of everyone from the past present and future. He is the reason you can be saved one day. All of this is in the Bible if you read it.

Because he is God and human and he died so our sins would be forgiven which in the long run is more important because the choice to believe or not determines where you spend eternity. I'm not saying that the soldiers aren't important though. They are, but I wouldn't compare that to Jesus really.

Well, I don't want to discredit any soldier for paying the price they did for our freedom. They deserve a lot of thanks for doing the sacrificial job. And for that reminder, thank you!
But think of it in terms of the amount of people who Jesus died for. Not just against a short term dictator or an evil regime, but Jesus died for EVERYONE, including those who the soldiers fought against.

Yeah Jesus died for all those people in the WWII and every other war also and the current ones. Not just for the ones who died, but also for the ones that are still living and not in war.
