Contact the Alumni Office at the school. Explain the situation. Hopefully, they can find out whose ring it is. If there are initials in the ring, be sure to tell them. It should be a simple case of looking in a yearbook or checking school records. I know the person who lost the ring will be glad to have it back!

Are there initials in the ring, or an inscription? Perhaps you can write to the school and see if they can check their yearbook for that year and come up with the owner. You can then do a search on the name at Zabasearch.com and hopefully be able to locate that person. Best of luck to you.

My first question would be is there any engraving? If the person's name or initials is on the ring, you can contact the school to look up a person with those initials from that year. Most schools keep an alumni directory.
