I'm a girl but I would guess...being sweet and supportive, not a nag, have a life and friends of your own apart from him so he can still go out with his guy friends, be interesting and have things to talk about, have a college education and a career, not be needy or clingy, make him feel like a man, make him look forward to come home to you at the end of the day, know how to listen to him instead of just talking all the time.
