I work at wal-mart as a cashier. there is a rumor in the store that one of the other cashiers likes me. She is nice and pretty cute but I have never thought of her that way. I ve never had a girlfriend and really want one before I graduate this spring but it kind of seems useless because I will be leaving for college in another 6 months. I also like my job and don't want it to be wierd if we do go out and break up. little help please?

I don't know if I really have any advice for you, but I just wanted to say that i work at Wal-mart (in electronics) and I am dating a guy who works there as well (in the connection center-cell phones). We had the same orientation and everything. About a week after working there we went out on a date, that was over 8 months ago and we're still going strong. I think Wal-Mart is a great place to find love, lol. I'd say get to know this girl and see if you would like her, then if you do...why not give it a shot? It wouldn't hurt and if you don't you might wish you had. good luck!

You are in a tough spot. I used to date girls that I worked with and it usually got wierd at some point. If you break up with them, it gets around and there can be problems. Also, Wal-Mart may have rules about employees dating, so watch out. I doubt that you want to lose your job over this.
On the other hand, you are in a good position in the respect that you are going away soon. If things work out, you could continue to see this girl(holidays, summer) even if it's for a few months, it's good experience(You don't want to go away to college, without having dated at least one girl....it's a different world) Plus, you will probably be going to Prom, so I'd say go for it.

The best answer is go out with her. Find out if there is something there or not. If anything you'll have a little experience in the dating scene before moving away. Which is another reason why, you're moving away so you will be leaving that job anyway or at least transferring if it doesn't work you'll never see her again and if it does it could be the greatest thing ever. No risk, no reward!

some places do not allow employees to date each other, but if they do then I would have to say that i would try to wait until i left for college before i considered dating her cause it will seem awkward
