I want to get into a summer program at a college I want to attend next year. How to I approach the people I need references from? What should I say?

Teachers counselors and principals do that kind of thing all the time. You just tell them whats going on and politely ask them if they whould mind writing you a refrence letter.

all you have to say is "there is a summer program at (insert college name here) that I would like to attend and I need a letter of recomendation/you to fill out this form so I can go if you wouldn't mind/please."
