Can you link to some of his answers, because if I read them, I should be able to tell you if he is an actual doctor or not. Arun is an Indian name, so he might be a doctor from India. They do things a bit differently there, so it might not be the same advice you would get from a MD here in the US. Or he could be a complete quack. Either way, take all medical advice given here with a really big grain of salt!

I wouldn't care to bet money on it, and I think the odds are against it. Doctors wouldn't likely give out free advice on Yahoo Answers, because they should be too busy with their own practices and patients. I've worked with doctors most of my life, and in my experience during the work day they are too busy to surf the web, and in their off time they have loads of other things they'd rather do. He may be a Ph.d, which would still entitle him to call himself a doctor, or he may have trained in a different philosophy of treatment- in which case he may use the title as an honorific. But I wouldn't seriously hang my life decisions on anyone on Yahoo advertising themself as a doctor. If you really needed medical advice of a serious nature, you'd be much better off seeking out a live body with a diploma for inspection.
