I have tiny zits on my forehead, nose, and chin. I don't know if you'd call them zits, or blackheads, or something. Most of them don't stick out alot, and their not very noticeable when I put concealer on, but I really want clear skin. I wash my face once-twice a day with oil-free acne wash, and it got a little bit better, but it still won't go away. There's also this stuff called "Nature's Aid", that I've been using, and again, it helped a little, but its still not gone. I've had this problem for months and it hasn't cleared up. Can anyone give me suggestions to get rid of my acne? (preferably cheaper ways)

Try the Acne Line from Bee-Luscious at www.beeroyalproducts.com. They have products that contain sulfur instead of benzoyl peroxide (Proactiv and Clearasil). The benzoyl peroxide will dry you out so bad more zits will come in.

I use the Aveda skin care line on my face. They have body and hair care products too, but their stuff is expensive so I don't use it for every body part. While only found in authorized salons, I get very good results with most of their products.

I've never had a severe problem with acne, but I do get the occasional annoying blemish. These incidences have decreased dramatically since using Aveda. Pro-Activ products aren't the only solution and may not be the best solution, because they're full of pharmaceuticals.

Aveda was founded by an French herbal biochemist. Using Aveda's quality skin care (which is all made from botanical ingredients and derivatives) has cleared up the problem I have with razor burn, pseudo-folliculitis, dry skin, and occasional zits. It keeps my skin PH balanced and has improved the texture of it. All their products smell beautiful. You have to try it. Aveda proudly displays their ingredients on the bottle, not a box package that you throw away. Companies that put ingedients on a disposable package, don't want people scrutinizing what's in their products, cause consumers have gotten much smarter about skin care. Don't believe me? Next time you go to a Bath and Body Works store, notice where you'll find the ingredient list on many of their skin care products ---UNDERNEATH the price label.

Aveda is expensive, but what do you want? You wanna use the cheap stuff and further irritate your skin with products made from petrol derivatives and harmful synthetic acids, or do you wanna get rid of your acne?

Also, don't eat a lot of junk, what you put into your body, may have a lot to do with what happens on the outside with your skin, nails and hair.

Stay away from cow's milk, drink soy milk instead if you have to drink a glass of milk. Drinking a glass of cow's milk is overdosing on it. Cow's milk isn't designed for humans, it's designed to fatten up a calf. (Imagine that) It should be obvious, but money and greed have convinced many people that it's something they should be drinking when nothing could be further from the truth.

There are other good skin care products out there too, but Aveda is one of the lines that I have found that is widely available and relatively easy to obtain

Stop looking in the mirror so much. Look once a day only and also once a day take and bunch of tissue and pure on some rubbing alcohol. And clean each side of your face with separate tissue clumps with the alcohol pured on them. Right after doing this take a shower with the water cool not hot water. The alcohol will kill any and all the acne germs and the cool water will help to stop dry skin.
Once a day repeat this plan also only once a day look in the mirror with natural outside sunlite not bathroom vanity lamps. Don't pay any attention to chins and noses and what sticks out or those whatever things because nobody else is.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

go to an acne skincare and not a dermatologist. at an acne skincare, they help rejuvenate and even out your skin tones, get rid of acne permanently, and doesn't leave any scars on your face or use alcohol. dermatologist just makes your face look worse by leaving scars behind and using alcohol.
