I really like this girl and I want to ask her out on valentines day.

Good idea but most people don't realize bad timing you have to do it a little bit in advanced cause the day of may be too late so I would advise a few days before not on V-day

That is very sweet! Combining that with a rose or candy (or both) or something and she couldn't possibly say no! Even though some girls pretend they don't like stuff like that, they secretly do.

Just tell her Sunday is your birthday and invite her over to have icecream and cake if u have any. and then get her to like you. if she starts likein you ask her out. good luck! and happy birthday

I think that is entirely up to you. If you do it's best to ask her directly. I remember when I was first asked out but it was through this other guy and it was kinda weird. I said no but I probably would have said yes if he asked me himself.

No don't do it that way because she will probably think that you just want her for your birthday. Be like hey i been seeing you around alot and I was wondering if you will go out with me on a date and then consider about dating each other?
