He'll be fine- but he might have the poops for a day or so. If that happens encourage fluids.

My 3 month old Newf pup licked out an entire little "jar" of Carmex. She was fine. No diarrhea or vomiting either.

Its probably not going to be a problem. If he gets an upset tummy or acts like he doesn't feel good, take him to the vet.
