Whenever you feel like it's the right time to get married, then you should! My fiance is 8 years older than me. I'm a sophomore in college and we're planning to get married this summer. Don't worry about age if you really love him. I would suggest moving in together for a little while before you get married. If you can't live together, then you won't last in a marriage. Good luck with everything!

I think waiting until school is over is very important. Because then you will be settled with your career and have a chance to look forward to actually planning the wedding and saving money at the same time. I know friends who didn't wait and it made for a tense time for school and getting things ready for the wedding and planning and things. My other friend got married in May. She and her husband were both graduates of college for about a year and had things in order. They bought a house in April, married in May. The planning alone is so stressful as it is with a job. And with school on top of things, it can cause for added stress that both of you have to deal with. Planning a wedding is a special time in both your lives and as it goes for him being older and you being worried about him having to wait... things will fall into place. He should try and understand that you only want to finish school before having wedding plans because it's going to make for a smoother transition into your life together. Good luck with everything!!!

My BF and I have been together for 5 years now -- but when we met I was only 16....We have been living together for 2 years now and everything is going perfect. We don't want to get married until we are done with school and we can support ourselves....Because right now my parents are supporting me - with school and what not and i don't think it would be fair for us to get married and still have my parents help me out - but then i would be totally broke if they didn't help me. I am happy with my BF and our relationship is stable - I know we will get married one day and that is enough for me - We are basically married now! I would just say if you know you two are going to be together - what is the rush? I do think that the right time to get married is when you just feel it is the right time...

good luck!

The right time to marry is whenever it feels right to you. Obviously you have to be legal to marry first but otherwise, it's you and your boyfriends call. Although marriage is a big step and a huge commitment. I'm not trying to tell you your naive, just be careful about what you are jumping into. early marriage often leads to messy divorces.
All in all, more power to you. Good Luck
