i hate that i had a relationship like that just start little and soon hell start talking to you and if u really like him u might have to start the talking for him to be comfortable even tho it might be hard for you too

just go and try to talk him. try make him open up. don't tell him u like him because that might scare him off. just be yourself and make sure u don't pressure him. good luck
