Go to Best Buy, and they have language software which is supposed to be sufficient to teach you to speak a new language functionally.

I would also suggest watching DVDs you already own in French. You already know what's happening so you will be able to follow along and learn better.

If you want you could also download and watch french TV shows. If you are interested a funny one from Quebec is called "Les Bougon, C'est aussi ca la vie!" It's about a french family who live in Montreal who are always coming up with new ways to play the system. They speak a "Quebecois" slang french, but you still understand and you can still understand and follow the plot (even if you don't understand the language at all, you will still laugh at their crazy schemes!)

yeah there isnt really anything u can do online. like, u might find a site teaching you basic words or phrases, but you won't be able to find a site that'll enable you to speak french fluently. that takes work and time. u hafta be good at memorizing. sorry, learning a language isn't the easy.
