No. Only one of you can file as Head of Household. In order for anyone to be Head of Household for return purposes, you must have a qualifying dependent. That means the person claiming HOH must provide more than half of the qualifying person's support for the year. If you both live in the same house, how can you both be providing MORE than half the support for the qualifying person(s)?

No, not if you live together, even if you each have a different qualifying dependent. One of the requirements to file head of household is that you provide MORE than half of the expenses of maintaining a household. If you live in the same household, then you can't each provide MORE than half of the costs of maintaining the household.

If the house is a duplex, two people living in the two different halves of the house, not together, could each be head of household if they meet all the requirements.
