I've always wanted to hike through Tibet and Nepal. I haven't a clue why I would wish to do such a thing as I'm not really an outdoorsy type of person.

I've also wanted to visit Istanbul, especially Haija Sophia, the Dolmabace Palace and the Topkapi Museum. And before the war, I had always wanted to visit Baghdad~~Mesopotamia, the fertile crescent, the place where this all began.. I know how that sounds, but I've just always had a great desire to learn about the past, and dip my feet into the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, just so I could say that I had.

Oh, I almost forgot the Temple at Angkor Wat. Cambodia is a gorgeous country, I'd love to visit there sometime.

Well, this is going to sound really stupid after all the amazing places people have described, but..

At the end of the Winnie the Pooh books, Christopher Robin and Pooh go to a place called Galleons Lap, which is described as 'an enchanted place'.

Here CR and Pooh discuss 'doing Nothing' (something which is a concept quite central to my spiritual beliefs) and CR explains that (since he is now at school) he won't be doing Nothing any more. In effect it is here they say their good byes.

And while I can't really explain it, and reading that bit makes me cry, that bit works for me as a most powerful metaphor for growing up, friendship, loss and even the spiritual quest.

So someday I plan to go to Galleons Lap and see whether I can count the sixty-three (or sixty-four) trees in a circle. You could call it a pilgrimage if you liked.

Daft huh?

I've been to Israel, interesting place, i learned allot about religious conflict, Jewish girls are beautiful and the Trance Festivals are amazing...

I would like to go to India and China to visit some ancient Temples and maybe try and learn about their spiritual paths. I definitely want to do Peru. I have been to many places in Africa, great place, the nature is pure and untouched in allot of the areas there, people are humble, down to earth and live life.

Australia, apparently there's a big gnostic movement going on there, could be interesting to see. I'm in England now, most people are non-practicing Christians and Agnostics, but here's ALLOT of Muslims where i live.

I don't know, I think any place has a certain quality to it. It's like the saying: Where ever you are, that is where you will be...

I'd love to visit the great pyramid and the sphinx. I know it seems cliche to say that, but to see something so old and so huge, and so mathematically precise, it would be awe inspiring and give me additional appreciation for our ancestors, and humanity overall. Seeing it on TV is one thing -standing below it is another. I visited many old cathedrals, some castles, and stone henge on a trip to Southern England seven years ago. That was a very spiritual experience for me. Since I really resonate with some of the ancient Egyptian writings and deities, I think Egypt would be a spiritual experience, too.

I have been to Jerusalem and stood on the Mount of Olives, where Jesus was taken up into heaven and where He is going to return (Acts 1:9-11; Zechariah 14:4).
I can vividly picture the prophecies of Scripture that speak of His glorious return with the Mount splitting in half from the north to the south, and how a stream of fresh water will flow forth from the Millennial Temple towards the Arabah, the valley in which Jordan and the Dead Sea lie; and how the deadness of that stagnant body of water will be flushed out and it will thrive with every kind of fish. (Ezekiel 47:1-12). Today these things are prophecy, but in a very short while, they will be history, because when God speaks, nothing can prevent what He says from coming to pass.

I want to visit Tibet.

I don't know the exact reason. It's not logical.
But when I was younger I read a book on Tibet and it seemed to just 'click' and I was like, "I am going there."

Who knows? Maybe I was a monk there in a past life or something, but it is undeniable that I am somehow drawn there.

I'm semi-Buddhist so I have a few books that show the temples and things there. The land is so beautiful.
Going there is something that I must do at some point in my life.

I wish there was, as I reread your question, it hits me that I am not spiritually aware, so yes, there are amazing places I know of, in many countries, but would I be spiritually aware as you ask - as on a quest? - no; I sit here and click away at the computer, and my TV, and read - to visit these places. (But more for general knowledge than spiritual growth.)

The Golden Temple in India, and other temples in India. China, Egypt, Rome, Mayan, Stonehenge. Too many to list of course.
I visited a Roman Catholic church in my travels in the Navy, at every port, but still not spiritually, I had to go to mass.

If I go to visit heaven:) I wont want to come back, not in a human body anyways.
I want to meet many that are in heaven, like king David, father Abraham, Jesus and God of course. And the many angels.

I would like to come back, but as an angel or Spirit, working for God. Since I like to be basically the protector type, perhaps God would put me in charge of one of the heaven's cavalry, since there is so many types of angels and of many colors as well.
Perhaps ride alone side of Jesus at times. Many colors of horses as well, although white usually are for the leaders. If you are wondering why angels in battle gear... because of spiritual battles are needed, now and later even after life ends on earth, once Satan and his crew are released of their ten thousand year rein. The garments and colors are beautiful, as well as the hard wear, breastplate, some angels dress in robes of blue, golden swords, belts and scabbard for their swords.

Peru - i always wanted to see Machu Pichuu - I feel a kinship with the Incas ever since I first heard about them (15 years ago) - I also had a vision of dying there (as an old man).

i know it is far fetched, but i want to visit a deep ocean trench and observe the primitive organisms that live in complete darkness. i wouldn't describe it as spiritual since I'm atheist, but a very profound moment for me, like visiting the birth place of all life, i don't know, its just a really old fascination and fear that I've always had of the deep sea, i know it would be a life changing experience.
