Lipitor 40mg tablets: an oval white tablet with 40 on one side and PD157 on the other. It comes in a Blister pack.

You could call your pharmacist or the poison control center or your doctor. Random pills found should be flushed in the toilet. You definitely would not possibly give a child or pet the opportunity to swallow it. It could be very dangerous if you take it also. As the others suggested, get RID of it, preferably flushed down rhe toilet.It is certainly better to be safe not sorry.

When you get prescribed medicine, it tells you what it is on the box or foil packet. I'm guessing you don't have that much or you wouldn't be asking on the internet.
If you don't know what it is, don't take it. if its not prescribed to you by a doctor, don't take it.
