We all appear foolish at some point or another. We all do dumb things, say dumb things, and trip on our own feet. So no, it doesn't matter. When I see someone do something foolish, I automatically sympathize and find comfort in knowing I'm not the only one who's had a bad day or made a bad choice or been criticized for my beliefs (etc...). Appearing foolish to someone else is a common human experience.

Only for a very short time. About as long as you were foolish. Most people that noticed forget really quick, cause they all have been foolish too. The trick is to be as foolish as little as possible. And if when it comes right down to it, you can't, just remember an old classic saying--"The whole world loves a fool"-- cause when your laughing the whole world laughs with you.:) And just keep smiling....

Does it matter to you? No one wants to look foolish. Unfortunately, people are being fooled by the teachings of many religions. How do you know that your religion is telling you the truth?
