I just bought this book on six pack abs and leg workout. It shows diffrent types of stomach workouts like crunches. But it also has a section of cardio exercises like running and walking, swimming ETC. Will i still get results from just doing regular exercises. what results wont i get from not doing the CV exercises. i come home from work at 5 pm and it get dark. i cant go outside and run. i cant afford a treadmill. ive asked many friends and family members. som have said that you dont need to do CV exercises. they got their results from not doing them. some say you have to do them. they say you can do as many sit ups as you want and still have fat in you stomach. Im not overweight. im 140 lbs and 5'7. im fine, i just have fat on my stomach. plz help. Thanks...

Yes, you need to do cardio if you want abs because it'll burn the fat. You can do a thousand crunches and sit ups and you will have a six-pack...it'll just be underneath that fat.

Also, if it's your goal to die early, cardio is not necessary for that. In fact, it'll speed it up for you.

ok everyone has a six pack even fat people but it is just buried under fat, and or undeveloped therefore un noticable so lets say you are fat running helps you uncover your undeveloped six pack making it more noticable even if you have done 2 weeks worth of non-stop work on your abs
so boom you have these uncovered abs ( no more fat in stomach cause you did cv workouts) and more noticabe abs

You really should get cardiovascular exercize. I play on three different basketball teams and my heart is one of the healthiest my doc has ever seen. My friend, however, plays NO sports and is addicted to video games. He says his doc asks him to play more sports or go outside more.
