Weightlessness. It's more of a rush. You kind of feel like you are floating and moving REALLY fast.

Its a cultural thing. In some countries like china they usually hold tightly onto the restaints and do not scream. In the Americas and European countries however nearly everyone is dared to throw their hands up and scream their lungs out. Why do some cultures do it? Well maybe its that radical side of us thats whats to create something that appears dangerous seem even more risky. You know the saying laugh in the face of danger.

so you feel the drop more. It gives them a bigger sense of thrill when they get bored of normally riding them
