A shorter hair style will do you better. It will have less maintenance and most likely be very attractive. It will take the frizzy part out. You could also grow it longer and straighten it. You have to try different things to see what works for you. Even though I am a guy I know a lot about hair. Myself I have been through so many styles. Now I got one that works. Honestly I have blond thick, unruly and frizzy hair. I found one that works for me. I love it!

It depends on if you are in law enforcement, or just a civilian.
A blond officer once pulled a driver over and asked for her driver's license. the driver asked what does it look like, and the officer described the size.. The driver pulled out a compact mirror that was that size and gave it to the officer. Being that they both wore the same hairstyle, the blond officer looked at it for a moment and gave it back to the blond driver. "So sorry", said the officer as she handed it back to the driver, "You should have TOLD me you were a police officer!"

You have my hair!!! I have found that using the Garnier Fructis line is the best for me. If your hair is very soft, then, probably, each strand of hair is fine, as opposed to thick and course. If your hair is sometimes frizzy, then you may have some natural curl. To straighten my hair and keep it straight (when it's not humid outside), I use Fructis Sleek & Shine products: shampoo and conditioner, and then I use their Sleek & Shine anti-frizz serum (just two pumps on wet hair, comb it through, then blow-dry while bending over) and roll my hair on large-size velcro rollers held tight with bobby-pins. This is GREAT for keeping a straight style.
Otherwise, for working with your natural curls, I dry my hair while bending over, then re-wet it with water in a comb, but only about the bottom-half of my hair. Then, I rub about 15 pumps of Thermasilk Heat-activated Anti-Frizz Fighter in the re-wetted parts of my hair. Again, I flip-over, scrunch my wet hair in my hand and dry it all scrunched-up. It holds its loose, natural curls. Experiment for yourself, since everyone is different, but this works really well for me.
When all else fails, put it in a French Braid off-center down the back of your head (not right in the center), and pin a cool-looking rinestone "brooch" in it. You'll get a ton of compliments!!!
