back in Nov this guy and i were getting along great and i began to like him. we would always talk and stuff (not really gonna go into detail) but one day he stopped tlkaing to me. so i said forget it. now ever since 2 weeks ago hes been flirting with me and doing everything first. the truth is im afraid if i talk to him hell ignore me or something so he does everything first. he holds me back from going up the seps or down the hall and other stuff. and when he walks upstairs and i see him i start to go slow and he always goes and brushes by my shoulder or gets real close while kind of jogging up the steps. now when he flirts i you know put on my smile and flirt back but i dont talk to him. i also wanna do things that he can tell i like him but not smiling at him. so should i start talking to this guy now first or have him make the first move for a little while longer then start talking to him. thanks for your help. appreciate it. im 13 by the way. i know im young but help me out please

Thirteen!!!

Can't you see you and everyone else in your school is way too young to date? Concentrate on school and friends. Plenty of time for dating after you are a woman and men ask you out, not this incredibly stupid and immature crap you're writing about.

Since you added a :) I'll answer you. Your ONLY 13, you have your whole life ahead of you, why worry about something like this? Just say hi next time he brushes up against you and that should be enough of an ice breaker.

Here's how it always works...when you don't like someone it is always easier to talk to them. The minute your attention turns to them and you start to like them, it becomes harder to talk. You become shy and awkward and don't want to do anything that would embarrass yourself. So you start acting like you are not available and not interested.
The first move is easy. Start saying "Hi" and little by little it will become easier to talk to him and figure out if you really like him as much as you think you do.
Thirteen is young, but we like who we like. Take your time!
I say it's a perfect match. The great thing is is that he's acting as goofy as you are, so have fun and good luck.

I think you should let him start to talk and stuff because guys don't like when girls are around them all the time or when girls talk too much or even when we call them all the time, they like to feel free you know what I mean?!So just let him everything and that way he wont get tired of you!!!!Good luck!

Give him the cold shoulder. Play hard to get. Mess with him. Once he realizes that how it feels, and that he can't treat u like that, u should go back to talking and "stuff"

I think that you should talk to him when you're ready. Because you never know what you'll miss if you never tried. Just give it a chance when you're ready. Don't rush into anything. Just it time. && you'll see more on how he feels.
