Okay, 2 weeks ago, I got drunk and called a girl whom I admired but really didn't know and told her that I was in love with her. Of course, she didn't take me seriously, and I was ashamed. So, yesterday, over the phone, I told her that I really meant what I said when I was drunk and asked her out. Now, she called back today and said that because she didn't know me too well, her answer is no. But I could sense that she had no feelings for me. But I believe she is the one. Although we didn't know each other too well, we used to talk to each other from time to time in English class. Now, it's become so awkward that I can't talk to her. I still have feelings for her. What should I do, my wise Yahoo users?

Sorry to hear you're in such a bad situation. I guess what you should do here is the same as what you should do to get any girl to go out with you. Be polite. Talk to her. Get her attention. Show your good side. Unfortunately, though, you will have to be really patient, because she already know you like her. Take it slow. I'm sure you'll win her eventually if you be persistent but not forcing. Also, I don't think drinking is going to help you.

If you really think that this girl could be "the one", then you need to get over your embarrassment. Just talk to her for a while; become friends. After you've been friends for a while and you feel that you're ready to ask her out again, go for it. But I have to advise you, if she says no again, you have to let her go.

Spend more time getting to know her... and when you think the time is right (not when you are drunk) try again... and keep trying... but don't be annoying about it... and if she says no more than three times... give it up for a while and just be friends...

LOL. I did something similar. Alls I can tell you is... I ain't with her at the moment. But I feel she still knows I am there and likes to know that I am there.
I think time will tell. Be casual, upbeat but calm at the same time and intelligent in front of her.

okay don't "ask her out", just ask her to do something with you, go to a theme park or whatever, something to show her that you are the one for her too, let her get to know you. try to establish the relationship again, get to know each other better at least on a friendship level then see what happens.

A girl likes it when you really express your feelings. you should write her a note but not make it gushy. if her response is still no take a break. it means no. a girl also doesn't like a pushy guy. it makes him look desperate. you may like her but to well you can't push someone into loving you.
