Im on a diet and walking 1 mile a day.

Toasted or non toasted doesn't matter. Whole grain breads are your healthiest option. The grainier the better! How you eat it makes no difference. Just stay away from white bread if you're trying to be healthy. There's way too much sugar in white bread.

1 mile a day will not make a difference. Just so you know. Toasted Wheat Bread is heated up, therefore special ingredients that help your body may be heated off of the bread. Where as not being toasted they have more special ingredients your body likes. I think there is no difference. UNLESS YOU ADD BUTTER - adding butter to your toasted will make it worse. DIGESTION WISE - The softer may be better to digest. BUT, YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM BREAD!

I don't think it matters if it is toasted or not. Whole wheat bread is definitely better for you than the white bread tho.

The toaster doesn't add any calories or nutrients. There's really no difference.
