they arent, mynahs, crows, raven can all talk, it is mainly due to thier advanced intelligence and the shape of thier vocal slit

they arent. Myna birds repeat everything. Parrots are the only birds that have the ability to communitcate through vocalization. They KNOW that what they say is going to get them something. Like when they say Wanna Cracker they are expecting a cracker. When a Myna Bird repeats what you say, they dont know what they are saying, they just repeat.
If you want to see something AMAZING look for video about Alex the african grey parrot. He can do math, tell colors, count, tell fabrics, materials, and shapes apart... and name them ALL!!! i'm sure the video is out there somewhere..
Some parrots have the same mental capacity of a 2 year old human.. amazing.

parrots aren't the only birds that can sing. I've heard Cockatoos,Cocktails,i think buggies and lots of other birds can too!

There are many different breeds of birds that can "speak". My parakeet can say "pretty bird".

They are not.There are more birds that can speak a crow can if got real young and there more.

they don`t they can mimic sound so it sounds like they speak there vocal cords let them do it

well i dont know WHY... depends on ur religious beliefs i guess. but i do know how. they have the "same equipment" for speech as us. see my source for more info
