ok i think this girl likes me but its her turn to ask me to SH. but shes pretty shy and i want to talk to her. my plans are just to say this: can i talk to you for a sec(when i see her in the hall after class) have you asked anyone to saide hawkins.....no......would you want to go with me?? ...................... ??? is that the right way

Try this on for size. Hand her a note that says," Will you go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me"? If this is what you want please return this note to me either in person or by a friend.

I think I would ask if she has asked anyone yet and if she says no then you say well if you wanted to ask me I wouldn't say no. That way it is still in tradition o f Sadie Hawkins day as she would then ask you. Plus I think it is a little more flirty. And I beg to differ with the one that said dating a shy girl is no fun and does not mean that she is insecure.

i think your missing the whole point of a SH
the girl is supposed to ask the guy
if she doesnt because she is too shy then you really need to find a new girl since dating a shy and insecure girl is no fun
