You and me both my friend. She's been my best friend for something close to 10 years and I am still working on trying to take it to the next level. As long as it takes me, I will always be there for her and keep trying.

The reality is people never see whats right in front of their faces. Its time to speak up. If you are truly good friends either way you'll stay friends. But if she has no clue your intentions she'll never look at you that way. Ask her what she thinks about going on a real date with you? Tell her you love her friendship but you feel that the two of you are destined for more, and you just want a chance to see to prove it. If she hesitates that's fine, just explain to her why you feel the way you do (all the reason you like her)
If it doesn't work at least you'll know and be able to move forward and focus on finding the someone who deserves you.

Always be there for them and let them know that. Let them know how you feel, but dont make it a choice like be with me or no friendship. Or kinda hint towards it. Get flirty or whatever they want. But always stick up for them and have their back, that means the most! If they dont have the same feelings, dont let go of hope, cause once she sees you still mean more to her as a friend, it shows a lot of character!
