I dont think you are allowed to ask this but check your local paper or your local vets office...also nothing about a puppy is free... you will need to get vaccines, deworming, spaying/neutering, food, etc tec etc... good luck...smile

Check your local classified ads. Generally, the larger mixed breeds are free, but most people will charge for smaller breeds, even mixed breeds, because smaller dogs are more desirable.

If you can't afford the price of a dog, how are you going to pay for dog food, vaccinations, vet care, spay/neuter, and all the assorted expenses that comes along with dog ownership?

Check your local animal shelter because most of the dogs coming from the shelter are already spayed/neutered, vet checkd, and had all necessary vaccinations.

www.petfinder.com is also a good source to look for dogs

Go to petfinder.com and search for rescues and shelters in your area. You'll find 100's of nice pups. Most won't be free but they will be spayed or neutered, and probably up to date on all their shots - That's a BARGIN for the minor cost they charge.

If you get a free pup, you'll spend $200 - $300 on shots and getting them spayed or neutered.

Happy searching. You'll find a great puppy on petfinder!
