hope it's a temporary thing ... could be a cold or something ... heard that after a certain age, you grow new taste buds every 7 years ... did somebody hit you in the back of your head, near the medula where your senses are controlled? good luck.

this is very unusual as even if you can not tell different tastes, you should be able to tell salty, from sweet and hot from bland,sharp from dry for instance salted peanuts from plain jalipino peppers from green sweet peppers and vinegar from orange juice

usually that means you have a cold. Is your nose stuffy? If you plug your nose and eat something you won't be able to taste it.

do you smoke? or do you offten get second hand smoke- if so, then thats probably why. or you could be comming down with something, like a cold or a flu, if it gets worse go to the doctor.

see a dr. really. Could be a neurological disorder. or a defict in your cranial nerves.
