i have burts bees apricot oil and a very bad hair cut i've heard coconut oil helps but I dont have it any more

No, do not use oil on your hair period. You can clog the openings of your hair follicles which will stun hair growth and even sometimes cause infection. Your scalp needs to breathe.

If you want to go the route of oiling try rosemary oil mixed with a little jojoba which won't clog the pores. Trust me, I practically shaved my head about a year ago and now its bra-strap length and I notice about an inch of growth about every five weeks.
