Ok, I hope I don't sound stupid or anything but I was hopeing that someone could help me into getting this guy to ask me to a dance. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips into gaining the courage to ask him- or even better yet, him asking me.

Put on something sexy, do a little soft flirting and then just ask him, but don't overdo the sexy part or he will get the wrong idea.

Well, there are a bunch of things you should consider before asking him...
1- does he know you on a personal level?
2-does he have any sort of feelings for you?
3-have you had any interation with this boy before?
And if you answered yes to all three of those questions...i think you should walk right up to him, when hes not with his friends, because if he is, then he might make you look like an idiot....and ask him....
"Hey (insert boys name here) i was wondering if you had a date for the dance yet?"
Wait for his reply...and if he says no...
"Would you want to be my date then?"
Just be blunt about it, love....

Go talk to this guy's teacher, or one of his friends, and ask that person to tell him(the guy you like) that your available and would say yes if he (the guy you like) would ask you out.
now,.. The guy you like will know that your available and will know you will say yes, therefore he will have more courage to ask you out.

just ask him if hes going to the dance with someone.if hes not then just ask him if it would be ok if the both of you could go togeather.or just say to him i would love to go to the dance but no one has asked me yet and see if he ask you.

Some ways to do this say "hey, are you going to the dance?" Then he'll say "I don't know. Are you?" then you say, " I don't know yet. i can't find anyone to go with" Optional say want to go together?" then you wait for a response.

getting him to ask you is way 2 hard so you ask him out, it would show him that you guts and you really wanna go with him if he sez no then just be like ''ok but next dance you're mine " then give him that Im-checkin-you-out kinda look.

no courage to ask,.....write a note...."excuse me, may I dance with you, please" ..........thats what I did.
