It depends on where you live. Most likely it's 18. But why would you want to start smoking just because you're going out????

You have to be 18 . But you will be carded many many years after that age. I am 70 an was carded the other day

Most states say one can ruin there life at 18. Lots of kids start early though....

why do you want to start smoking?does it make you feel all grown up?you will regret it someday,its not cool at all.here in pa. you have to be 21 before you can buy them and besides that if you dont look 21 they wont sell you any and they card you too.

u need to b 18 but y do u even want to smoke? so u can die earlier? Seriously I live with 1 and 1 used to smoke and he had to get his tounge cut out. and has lip cancer. Please don't smoke!!
