I'm not religous however, apparently Adam and Eve were the first man, and woman. And there son Cain after killing Able his brother moved to the land of Nod and married his wife? Well.. because it actually names the place, I assumed there must be other talk of this place, however I have yet to find any other information on it. Does anybody "know" or "proclaim to know" what Nod refers to?

"...This passage is generally recognized as a mistranslation; "Nod" (נוד) is the Hebrew root of the verb "to wander" (לנדוד). The simplest interpretation of Genesis 4:16 is that Cain was cursed to wander the land forever, not that he was exiled to a "Land of Wanderers", otherwise absent from the Old Testament."

Nod = wandering, land of nomads

Gen 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Nod
nod (נוד, nōdh): The land of Eden, to which Cain migrated after the murder of his brother and his banishment by Yahweh (Gen_4:16). Conjecture is useless as to the region intended. The ideas of China, India, etc., which some have entertained, are groundless. The territory was evidently at some distance, but where is now undiscoverable.

Well most people say its the land of the wanderer but it still doesnt make sense to me, if Adam & Eve were supposedly the first people ever who did Cain marry, an ape? I mean really. How dumb does that sound. Literally or figurative it doesnt make sense whatsoever.
