if you are more active your body speeds up your metabolism some what...like if you have ever starved yourself you lose a few pounds, but your metabolism slows down, and as soon as you start eating your body absorbs more of the food than it normally would so you put the weight back on.So if you become active you lose weight from exercise and your metabolism burns more calories after you eat.
