how many subs do you want? to hit even 150 db's at 300$ per sub you'll need at least 2 15" badass subs.

what is your budget? you need to specify these things before we can really help you. If you have a decent budget, check out the Fi SSD subs, relatively inexpensive and at 800 watts RMS, they hit some mean db's.

a couple 15" Alpine Type R's aren't a bad choice either. They'll take 1000-1200 watts daily and give you close to 148 db's if you set it up right. Otherwise... to hit the deebees you're talking about, you beter have some serious cash and lots of trunk space.

Rockford Fosgate makes a good sub and amp duo, as well as Audiobahn, and JL audio. Honestly it's not necessarily the DB level that makes subs so loud, it's how low they can go, their size, how many you have, and how much power they can produce. My 10 inch RF woofer has a peak of 400 and it has some good bass...but for you you might want 2 subs. Go to this site, they have lots of good stuff. Good luck!
