I have noticed that many types of Theists have been taught that they are God's greatest achievement. They believe the whole purpose for existence is to test them. This is an egocentric way of thinking and usually results in the demeaning treatment of others (including other species). Of course this is just a generalization, and should not be applied to all. Some religion teach that life is a delicate balance and no one thing has reign over the earth...

Electric impulses animate living things, basically, but God's behind all of it.
I think animals have both. I love my dog, and I know he often knows what I'm saying, and he has ways of replying with a certain body gesture or something.
My dog can feel. He gets upset when he hits his head on something or trips, which he does a lot.

They must.
Numbers 22
28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the a-ss, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? 29 And Balaam said unto the a-ss, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee. 30 And the a-ss said unto Balaam, Am not I thine a-ss, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? and he said, Nay.

A mad dog can certainly communicate its feelings. What kind of dumb question is that?
