Yes...but I wouldn't be surprised if some of those fats from nuts are good for you, to a point.

Not exactly...What's true is that dark chocolate is less fatty than milk chocolate.

Dark chocolates often contain nuts and caramel, so these add back in all their fats.

Absolutely. The higher the cacao-level (and less anything else), the lower the fat. If you get pure raw chocolate, which is available at health stores, you get one of the healthiest things around, with high levels of anti-oxidants. A Hershey's bar (or similar brand- don't want to pick on them in particular), on the other hand, is almost all sugar, fat and dairy. Moreover, very dark chocolate (like 60-70% cacao) is intense enough that you only eat in small amounts and get the chocolate fix, so you eat less fat through smaller portions.

Depends.

Depends on the cocoa butter content of the dark chocolate

The kind of nuts

And the kind of caramel. Most caramel contains no sugar, some is made with dairy so it would contain fat.

Usually. Dark chocolates have less fat and more cocoa. And they're heart healthy too! (In moderation, of course)
