I am an unafilliated voter, and tired of the Republicrats and Democrans playing us all for fools...especially since Thomas Jefferson wrote into the Constitiution one rep for 30000 citizens, and the last 100 years we've tripled our population and not added one seat to the House because they illegally limited their numbers a hundred years ago..I think this might be an issue Ralph could represent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

before technology having 1200 representatives would be tough, but today with computers and video-conferencing it could be done...and the reps should be required to spend 80 percent of their time in their own districts so that their representatives could give input !!!

I don't know much about the constitution, but that doesn't keep me from being a senator! I'll drink to that!

I agree that these are good questions. We do need to do something to make our legislature better represent their constituents. I'm not sure whether Ralph Nader uses e-mail himself. However, I did find an e-mail address searching with google: it's ralph@essential.org . His campaign e-mail address was info@votenader.org . You can directly mail him a "snail mail" letter at this address I also found on multiple sites online including on nader.org: P.O. Box 19312, Washington, DC 20036.

Just to clarify, ome of the answers you've received so far are incorrect. For example, Ralph Nader is definitely not a member of the Democratic Party and I'm pretty sure he's never registered as a member of any party for that matter. And his websites are NOT ralphnader.org or ralphnader.com; his website is nader.org and his campaign website from 2004 was votenader.org.

To the answer before mine: I believe Ron Paul is the real deal and admire him for standing up for some things that a lot of people would think of as kooky just because he thinks outside the box. I wouldn't put him and Nader in the same category. I lost all respect for Nader when he was accepting REPUBLICAN donations during his last run as a presidential candidate. It was so obvious what was happening but his ego was just too big. If he had really cared about what he preached he would have stepped back as his continuance was detrimental to his cause. I find him grotesque.

Since Ralph Nader has declared his political affiliation to be with the Democratic party, I don't think you are going to get any satisfaction from talking to him.

At Nader.org, a telephone number is listed. I am not going to list it here, but it is on the website.

Adding seats for every 30,000 people would make the House of Representatives too large. Nothing would ever get done.

Congress would be the one to change this anyway and they most likely wouldn't do it.

I think those are good questions that more and more people should be asking. I would suggest writing your senator and not putting in frivelous answers like the one I just read before mine. Lets take to the streets. Our gov is not working, but too many people have their ipods plugged into the brains to pay attention.
