It is definately an advantage for the nation or people looking to conquer you.

Peace can only be secured through superior firepower and the willingness to use it if forced to. This is not say that a person has to pick a fight but they have to be willing to fight.

There has never in the 6000 years of recorded human history been a pacifist nation that has survived without a protector state that had the fire power to protect them.

It's human nature, we prey on our weak.

unfortunately the world circumstance stand for
brutality and violence so we need high military power
so what Machiavelli says is true!!

consider to disarmed in this days is pure suicide
