Well it might not take long but you would be seriously endangering your body, and be working on killing yourself. Go on a regular diet, anorexia is not the way to go. Eat right and excersize lots and you will lose 15 lbs in no time, as long as you put your mind to your diet.

You won't last that long if you eat absolutely nothing. Trust me, I know. The longest I lasted was 6 days and then I totally binged on like 2000 calories.

It'll take like 10 days to lose 15 pounds on the scale, but you won't look much different. It'll mostly be water weight. Try just minimizing the amount of calories you eat to 1200 instead of the usual 2000 or something. Don't starve. You'll **** it up after.

Dawn is absolutely right. I hope that this is just a hypothetical and not a serious question-for your sake. I was anorexic for a short period of time in high school, and no matter now much weight you lose it's just not enough. and yes, once i did start eating again, it's true. your body stores more of the fat because it thinks it's starving. better to be 15 lbs overweight than sick dear.

a long time. when you stop eating, your body thinks it's being starved, so it stores the fat for future use and actually starts to "eat" at the muscle. The best way to lose weight is to watch your calories and fat content and exercise. There is no easy answer to weight loss. If there were ,no one would have a weight problem.

Well if you stop eating you actually might gain more weight, see when you don't eat your body goes into starvation mode and eats off of your calories and fat, and making you fatter instead. the best way to loose pounds, eat small meals, like a turkey sandwich and a piece of fruit or something similar, and working out is also the best way. Who wants and unhealthy girl for real anyways, kinds yucky.

If you stopped eating, you'd actually eventually begin to gain weight...don't do it! Your body would begin to hoard the fat that you still had because it would think you were starving and it would do it to survive. Sticking to a healthy, consistent diet will work much better than any sort of diet that could cause yo-yo weight loss. Easing your body into change is the best way to go about doing things because it will react to drastic changes.

I definately do not recommend stopping eating. When You starve your self, your body stores everything instead of buring it up. if you want to loose weight, drink lots of water, substitue tea instead of pop and juice, increase your physical activity, take a 5-10 minute walk, eat mini meals, instead of 3 main meals eat 6 mini meals, like healthy snacks, fruits, veggies, some carbs but not alot. Protien is good for you to, it gives your body energy to burn the weight off. Good Luck and stay healthy.

It depends on how much physical activity the body is engaged in.

But if you are seriously considering not eating..... please don't. It's just not worth it.
You'll just hurt your body.
