It sounds like your bird needs more attention. Normally when birds pull their feathers that is a sign that they need more handling. Just try to get your parrot out 2-3 times a day. For instance if your watching TV or something you can just put him on your shoulder and he will be content just siting there. Just get him out even if its just for a couple of minutes. As to his aggression towards your husband, the just needs to get used to your husband and you. He is probably just scared and confused. These birds can become very attached to their owners. He has just been put into a very different environment and just needs some time.

Nice 3 part question....

1. Let you husband be in charge of feeding the bird. This will help identify that your husband is a good guy.
2. If the bird is plucking his feathers for attention. Give it more. Let it out a little more often. Just let it sit with you or by you while you watch tv. You could also try giving it some Nektron Bio. It is a vitiam powder for feather growth. If you have questions about it. email me....I will explain further...
3. Birds are early risers. But you might put the bird somewhere dark or cover with a dark cover. But once you get the bird on your schedule it will be better. Mine know that nobody is up til 9am. I also work at night. So they do know to be quiet til then...

Try to be constant when feeding. If you feed early morning...or you can feed when you get up...Your bird will adjust. Mine have and I have 52 of them.

Good luck....but feel free to email me if you want to talk about your bird. Maybe we could figure out some other ideas together...

alot of times birds will pluck their feathers out of boredom or stress, sometimes though its just habbit. make sure he has lots of toys and gets lots of attention. if that doesnt do anything try taking him to the vet to make sure its nothing medical, and if thats not it try spraying a bitter apple produck on him to discurage feather picking.
as for getting along with your hubby all i can suggest is that he keeps working with the bird and is patient.
and the screaming, most birds scream and dusk and dawn. the only thing you can really do is cover the cage with a dark cloth so the bird thinks its still night

hubby should be the only one that ever feeds him, and make sure he is above him when he approaches him. birds are loud when the sun rises and sets. keeping him in the dark until you get up may work somewhat
