Should a dogs penis are swell after they get neutered?

my dog just got nuetered 2 days ago and the area where the penis is. is that normal?

If that is where his incision is, then yes, a little swelling is normal. Take note, though, if it turns red, fells hot to the touch, or has any amount of puss coming out of the incision site.

If worried, remember you can always call your vet and they will let you know exactly how the dog should be recovering!

yes my dogs swelled up after and theyre fine

Hmm.... maybe they should have taken that off as well -- it'll just be a source of frustration to "him" now.
